The primary objective of this course is to provide students with hands-on experience with advanced concepts in radiation detection and measurement. In particular, the laboratory portion emphasizes:

  • Digital signal processing
  • Signal generation & pulse shape analysis
  • Multichannel detector systems

Lab Submissions

Each report will be built from the source files (LaTeX and any figures in the images/ directory, for example). To make this simpler, the lab report template comes with a Makefile. Using the GNU make utility, a .pdf of the lab report is compiled from the LaTeX source files by …

Lab reports will be submitted individually, with one github repository per student per lab. The overall structure of the lab reports is left to the individual students: you may organize your work however you please.
